Summertime - Lyrics
Summertime and the living is easy
Fish are jumping and the cotton is high
Your daddy's rich and your mama's good-looking
So, hush, little baby don't you cry

One of these mornings you're gonna rise up singing
Then you spread your wings and take to the sky
But until that morning there is nothing can harm you, no no no
With your daddy and mommy standing by

Older Adult Centre Renovation Update:

Program Room Renovation:
Thank you to our Sponsor: Service Canada for a grant of $25,000 to renovate, update and replace equipment in the Program Room. We now have ample storage for our community groups and Centre programs. We also have a permanent coat rack. The clutter has been reduced and tucked away in a small storage room at the back of the room.
This project is funded by the Government of Canada's New Horizons for Seniors Program.

Cafeteria Renovation:
Thank you to our Sponsor: Royal Canadian Legion, Streetsville, Branch 139 for the donation of over $14,000 to renovate, upgrade and replace our Cafe appliances. Our Board of Directors also contributed $8,000 toward this project. We are very excited to finally have a dishwasher to reduce waste and be more efficient. This project also funded a new electric screen for the Auditorium.
