Core Health:
How to Get a Flat Tummy without Situps
by Nancy Ma, Physiotherapist

Weight Loss Resolution 2015: Steps to Success Google image from http://www.eligiblemagazine.com/2015/01/02/weight-loss-resolution-2015-steps-to-success/

Wednesday, June 10, 2015 - 6:30 - 8:00 pm

Complimentary.

Instructor: Nancy Ma, Physiotherapist

The core is one of the most controversial topics in the fitness industry. What is the core? How do we train it properly? How often do I have to exercise?

The core, when functioning properly, is essential in maintaining the right amount of intra-abdominal pressure, helps to maintain proper digestive processes, keeps our internal organs intact, as well as stabilizes our spine, to name a few. Whether or not you are a couch potato, general labourer, fitness model, or star athlete, you need to have a fully functioning core for optimal alignment.

Unfortunately, the fitness industry has a very different idea of training core than the health industry, which, believe it or not, is not the same industry! Most people are over-training superficial muscles and as a result, people are getting injured when trying to be more healthy. Not good!

Nancy is a Registered Physiotherapist passionate about helping you be a better you by helping you with your whole body alignment. Learn how to engage your core, flatten your tummy, and improve digestion with a few simple postural corrections and exercises without having to ever do a sit-up or invest in an ab-master!

The Memory of Water
and Homeopathy

Homeopathy - What Is It? And How Does It Work? Like a non toxic immunization Google image from https://gr8ful1dotcom.files.wordpress.com/2015/01/homeopathy.jpg

Saturday, June 27, 2015 - 10:00 - 11:30 am

Complimentary.

Instructor: Octavio Colantonio, DCHM

Water memory is the proposed ability of water to retain a memory of substances previously dissolved even after an arbitrary number of serial dilutions. It is claimed to be the mechanism by which homeopathic remedies work, even though they are diluted to the point that no single molecule of the original substance remains. Water memory defies conventional scientific understanding of physical chemistry knowledge and is one of the main principles of Homeopathy. We will take a look at the research to find out how exactly water memory actually works in Homeopathic Remedies.
