1) Advocacy "Healthcare" - Avril Davies, Chairperson, has a great depth of experience and is tackling the issues. At the January Community meeting, a discussion among attendees identified major issues as end of life care, family doctors, hospice education and one-stop-shops for tests.
2) Advocacy "Ageism" - Barry Everatt, Chairman, is very involved with community activities including Habitat for Humanity and has volunteered to lead the charge against "Ageism". At the January Community meeting, a discussion among attendees identified major issues as employment, continued education and bed blockers.
Please let them know if you would like to volunteer to help with any of these activities. You can help make it better.
