At our AGM in the spring, I was elected to the position of Director of Volunteers. Prior to that time, I was the Director at Large, and as many of you know, the digital photographer for the volunteer board. I am pleased to say the redesign is complete.
I have met many of you thru the photo sessions, my computer classes and bus trips. I look forward to meeting many more of you in the future.

Congratulations to you all for ensuring the success of this year's Walk-a-Thorn. Together we raised an outstanding $20,523.56. We had 96 registered participants which included 16 mall walkers and 5 from the Chinese Golden Age Seniors. We added a category this year of "Groups" and the mall walkers won that category by collectively bringing in $3,449.56. The Chinese Golden Age Seniors brought in $800. We warmly acknowledge our top fundraisers:
Hats off to Richard Clotman for being instrumental in securing all the donated juice and milk for the event. Many thanks to our event sponsor V!VA Retirement Living and to you all for sharing your time, energy and very generous financial support.
Hooray to the incredibly talented team of women and men who dazzled us with their gift of music and dance this year. We applaud you all for sharing your charm and talents with us.
