March Break Movie Madness
at
Parkland on the Glen

Tuesday, March 11, 2025 - 1:30 pm or 7:00 pm

A great opportunity to spend time with your (great) grandchildren during their time off school. Bring them to Parkland:

For lunch of chicken fingers, fries and a sundae. Followed at 1:30 pm for a viewing of "Encanto" with popcorn.

Walt Disney Animation Studios' "Encanto" tells the tale of an extraordinary family, the Madrigals, who live hidden in the mountains of Colombia, in a magical house, in a vibrant town, in a wondrous, charmed place called an Encanto. The magic of the Encanto has blessed every child in the family with a unique gift from super strength to the power to heal - every child except one, Mirabel (voice of Stephanie Beatriz). But when she discovers that the magic surrounding the Encanto is in danger, Mirabel decides that she, the only ordinary Madrigal, might just be her exceptional family's last hope. ~ Disney+.

For dinner of burger or hot dog, fries and a sundae. Followed at 7:00 pm for a viewing of "Wonder" with popcorn.

Based on the New York Times bestseller, "Wonder" tells the incredibly inspiring, heartwarming story of August Pullman. Born with facial differences that, up until now, have prevented him from going to a mainstream school, Auggie becomes the most unlikely of heroes when he enters the local fifth grade. As his family, his new classmates, and the larger community all struggle to discover their compassion and acceptance, Auggie's extraordinary journey will unite them all and prove you can't blend in when you were born to stand out. ~ Lionsgate.

Dinner & Movie: $12 + HST for kids under 12. For kids 12 and older - $28.95 + HST.

To RSVP, contact Lifestyle Consultant Grace Miksa by email: gmiksa@shannex.com, or call 905-820-8210 ext. 8223.
