Paleo is more than just a "Fad" diet ... it's a lifestyle. The reason why the Paleo Diet works is because it's more than just calories in and calories out. It's about nutrient density and nourishing your body with real food cooked in a traditional manner. It's about sleep, being outside, the sun, and fun!

Webinar Leader: Janet Jacks, Founder of Goodness Me!
It’s that time of year again: Time to make resolutions, to vow to change for the better, to start fresh. But do you ever find yourself in the third week of January with your resolutions faded, your motivation faltering, and your successes few and far between? Make this year better by creating solutions instead of resolutions.
Janet Jacks will show you why many popular resolutions, such as losing weight, eating better, living healthier, or having more energy, often don’t stick - and she’ll show you solutions to make these resolutions work for you. Learn why conventional diets don’t work, and why sometimes, will power won’t. Join this webinar and learn how to create a healthier, happier new year by changing your lifestyle through food instead of diet and deprivation, and start 2015 off the right way!

Director: Borys Lankosz
Writer: Andrzej Bart
Stars: Agata Buzek (Sabina), Krystyna Janda (mother), Anna Polony (grandmother), Marcin Dorociński (Bronislaw)
Plot Summary from IMDb. "A story about women, set in the present and in 1950s Warsaw. The main character is Sabina, a quiet, shy woman who has just turned thirty. Clearly, she lacks a man in her life. Her mother knows all about it and tries at all costs to find her daughter a good candidate for a husband. The whole situation is controlled by the grandmother, an eccentric lady with a sharp tongue from whom no secret can be concealed. Successive admirers arrive at the pre-war tenement where the women live, but Sabina is interested in none of them. One day, appearing out of nowhere, comes the charming, intelligent, and terribly good-looking Bronislaw. His presence will spark off a series of unexpected events revealing the darker side of the women's nature." ~ Written by Warsaw Film Festival.

Instructor: Dr. Sachin Patel, DC, CFMP
Join Dr. Sachin Patel for this exciting new class. Dr. Patel will present the latest evidence-based information in a simple and actionable way. You will leave with lots of great information and tips to improve your current approach. You will be given an immediate action plan to regain your health and vitality. He will be covering topics such as: How lifestyle affects thyroid function and hormone metabolism; What nutrients the thyroid needs to work properly; How digestion impacts the thyroid and how to correct it; How stress impacts the thyroid and what you can do about it; The best type of exercise for thyroid patients, and much, much more!
Info from Getting to Know Your Thyroid Gland by Mary Green, Empower Magazine, Vol. 5, Iss. 1, 2013. "Thyroid hormones tell organs how fast or slow they should work and regulate how the body breaks down food to use as energy immediately or store it for the future. These hormones also manage the body’s consumption of oxygen and production of body heat. During infancy and childhood, adequate thyroid hormone is crucial for brain development.
Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, also known as autoimmune or chronic lymphocytic thyroiditis, is the most common of the thyroid diseases: the condition affects more than 10 million Americans and is about seven times more common in women than men. Hashimoto’s thyroiditis occurs when the
thyroid gland is attacked by a variety of immune cells and autoantibodies as if it were a foreign tissue, reducing its ability to produce thyroid hormone. The thyroid may also enlarge, forming what is known as a goiter."

Stars: Andrzej Seweryn, Magdalena Boczarska, Robert Wieckiewicz
Plot Summary from IMDb. "Pressured by his superiors to disgrace public intellectual Warczewski, a professor and respected writer whom they believe to be a 'camouflaged Zionist,' rough security-services colonel Rozek enlists his sexy but naive girlfriend, Kamila, to insinuate herself into the distinguished older man's life and report on his every move. Not particularly interested in serving communism but eager to please her domineering lover, Kamila accepts the mission, reporting under the code name 'Little Rose.' As quick scenes contrast Kamila's crude pleasures with Rozek and her more refined experiences with Warczewski, it becomes clear that the more time the unschooled young woman spends with the professor, the more she comes to have true feelings for him." ~ Written by Palm Springs Internation Film Festival.
